From its new home in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, the Cultural Programme is a major new initiative acting celebrating the power of arts and culture to bring people together, to innovate and to transform lives through extraordinary cultural experiences.

The Schwarzman Centre’s Cultural Programme will present performances, workshops, screenings, exhibitions and events, connected to and inspired by the University’s world leading research. The programme will seed and incubate ground-breaking new artistic work emerging from collaborations involving thought leaders and exceptional artists from around the world. Featuring projects on both physical and digital stages and with a particular focus on impacting on young people, your support will bring positive impacts for audiences, artists and cultural organisations both locally and globally.

At the heart of the Centre will be a suite of public cultural spaces. These spaces will be situated alongside world-leading academic departments, libraries and collections, including the Bate Collection of Musical Instruments. They will enable us to host some of the world’s greatest artists, to create innovative artistic work and to nurture the creativity of the next generation.

As the building takes shape, we are looking for partners to support and fund a growing and ambitious programme of work which will be delivered in collaboration with the University and local, national and international partners.
