An afternoon of conversation, research and creativity exploring how we define and understand different states of consciousness from plants, humans and other animals, to AI.

Special guests include Dr Chris Thorogood (Deputy Director, Oxford Botanic Gardens), Professor Ilina Singh (Professor of Neuroscience & Society, University of Oxford), Williem Kuyken (Professor of Mindfulness and Psychological Science, University of Oxford), Carl Miller (Demos, Kings College London) and other world-leading academics and practitioners.

The afternoon will be co-hosted by Hot Poets, an award-winning spoken-word project bringing together science and climate action.
